Significance
The madrasa is the only monument that survived from the Registan Square, which was a part of a large urban project consisting mosques, caravanserais and a bazaar in the Timurid period.

State of Preservation
A large-scale restoration project was held on in the square between 1967 and 1987. Today, the building is in good condition
