Significance
Mir-i Arab Madrasa is located on Registan Square and was constructed under the order of the influential Sheikh Miri Arab in the 16th century. The madrasa, together with Kalyan Minaret and Kalyan Mosque, form the central architectural complex of Bukhara.

State of Preservation
The madrasa is in a good state of preservation. In recent years, the projecting walls of the entrance have been restored. The decorations on the exterior and courtyard façades were also restored.
