Significance
The mosque is ancient dating back to the era of the Ottoman Empire in Palestine and is located in the north of the city of Jaffa on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, specifically in the Mansheya neighborhood. It is considered the only Islamic and Arab architectural monument in the neighborhood after the Israeli occupation demolished the entire neighborhood. It was founded and built-in 1914 AD, named refers to the Ottoman ruler of Jaffa, Hasan Bey.

State of Preservation
In 1923, the Supreme Islamic Council restored the mosque as part of the mosque maintenance project in Palestine and preserved it as historical heritage landmarks. After the Israeli occupation demolished the entire old neighborhood after the catastrophe in 1948 and closed the mosque, and the occupation tried to demolish the mosque many times under the pretext of developing the city, the most dangerous of which was in 1981 when the mosque cracked all its corners. It remained closed until the Islamic Commission in Jaffa restored it and opened it for prayer in 1988. However, the Israeli authorities still prohibit calling the call to prayer.
