Significance
The farm where Prophet Muhammad may God’s prayers and peace be upon him rested after being expelled from Taif and was offered fruit by Addas, the grape farmer, is on the opposite side of the mosque.The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sought refuge in the orchard of Ataba and Shaybah. The son Rabi’a was located 3 miles from Taif. The son of Rabi’a was slavery, so they sent a boy to them called Adasa with a pluck of grapes. The head, hands, and feet of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, kiss them and he embraced Islam.
