Significance
The buildings is the largest and finest residential structure in Fatehpur Sikri. Due to its proximity to the royal residence, it is believed that the building is the palace of Akbar’s two chief queens; however since it lacks a private bath and a courtyard, some authorities suggest it was used by Akbar for religious discussions.
