Significance
The Haibat Khan Mosque is located at the south-east of the Jamalpur Gate and in the southern part of the city.On the Haibat Khan Mosque, which is very similar in design with the Ahmad Shah’s Mosque, Hindu architectural and decorative elements including pillars derived from an earlier Hindu temple, are used.

State of Preservation
During the communal violence in 2002, the mosque was extensively damaged.. By 2006 restoration work had been completed and the mosque reopened to the public.
