Significance
It is the North America’s most northerly mosque and its minaret is the first to be built in the Arctic.

State of Preservation
This Mosque was built in August 2010 in Winnipeg, 4,000 km before Inuvik. Traveling on both road and river, the building made it into town safe and sound, settling in its permanent location on Wolverine road.
