Significance
This mosque is a significant monument from 17th century, especially notable for its unique Moorish style and rich decoration. At the main entrance, there are twenty-three steps that reach to a decorated portico with marble columns. The mosque has two minarets flanking the entrance portal.

State of Preservation
The mosque is in a good state of preservation. The Mosque was restored with support from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA). On September 26, 2013, a protocol was signed between Turkey and Algeria. On September 10, 2014, restoration works started in the Mosque. And now, this Mosque is in very good condition.
