Significance
This dam comes in terms of importance at the forefront of the dams despite its small size, as it is 58 m in length, 4 m in width and 8.5 m in height, and is located to the east of the city of Taif, about 8 km, and the importance of this dam is that its construction was ordered by Caliph Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan in the year 58 AH / 677AD, There is an inscription consisting of six lines indicating the date of construction.
