Significance
Sultan Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi established the khanqah, and was attributed to him, it is the first khanaqah established in Jerusalem after its liberation. This Khanqah had a tangible role in the intellectual movement in Jerusalem, which is a complete architectural complex consisting of housing rooms, a mosque and public facilities, and was devoted to teaching and reading The Holy Quran and Hadith.
