Significance
Sidi Boumediene Complex comprises of the mosque and mausoleum constructed for Sidi Abu Madyan Shuayb ibn al-Hussein al-Ansari, who was a famous Sufi teacher, a scholar and also a poet that lived in 12th century. The complex was built in 14th century by a Fez sultan. The minaret is one of the most notable features of the mosque, decorated with polychrome tiles and brick in Andalusian style.
