Significance
Al-Mina Mosque, also called Al-Bahr Mosque, was built by Suleiman Pasha Al-Adel in 1806 on the same site as the old Sinan Pasha Mosque. This mosque is located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in the city of Acre in northern Palestine, which was built during the Ottoman era. The Jazzar Mosque, which is located near it, is similar in exterior and interior design.

State of Preservation
Part of the mosque was destroyed by an earthquake, and in 1807 AD, the governor of Acre, Suleiman Pasha, rebuilt it. The Sinan Pasha Mosque was exposed to cracks, and the “Al-Aqsa Foundation” carried out internal and external repair and maintenance work in all the facilities of the mosque. The last restoration work for the mosque’s exterior facades, including the main gate, was on February 5, 2014, with funding from the Turkish ” Mirasımız ” Association.
