Significance
It was established during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent in the year 967 AH / 1559 AD, and was renewed during the reign of Sultan Mehmed IV in the year 1064 AH / 1653 AD, as appears from the text of the renewal above its entrance. Then it was renewed during the reign of Sultan Abdul Majid in the year 1260 AH / 1844 CE, as evidenced by the inscription above the mihrab of its mosque, and then renewed in the Saudi era in the year 1370 AH / 1950 CE. The castle is located next to Ain Tabuk. The project of the castle is square in shape, and its entrance is located in the middle of its northern side, and it leads to a central courtyard, surrounded by domed rooms, and the castle has an upper floor containing a number of rooms and a small mosque.

It is composed of two floors: the first consists of an open courtyard, a number of rooms, a mosque, and a well; stairs lead to the upper floor, which has an uncovered mosque, more rooms, and stairs leading to the towers, which were used for monitoring and control.
